About the Event

The Handstand Master Class Part 2 that you never knew you needed.

In the last Handstand Master Class, due to time, I did not get to cover all that I had planned, So I've decided to do a part two for those who want to not only come back for the rest but also have plenty of time to work on the drills that were covered.

In this two hour class there will be less talking and more doing, so come along and work on your handstands with me.

Here's what we'll cover in 2 hours

  1. Sun-salute warm up 30min
  2. Brief reminder of Pike  and compressions 20 min
  3. Working the drills from the Pt1 class 50min
  4. More injury prevention work 20 min

If you don't have a handstand practice already but really want to start one, then this is for you.  If you have a love hate relationship with handstands, then this is for you.  If you think your handstand is already the SH*&! and needs no improvement or work, then jog on mate.


When: Next Saturday 20th of February 2021

Time: 10am to 12pm

Assisting objects you will need that can be found around the home:

  • A Solid Wall
  • A largish Exercise Ball (teehee)
  • A Chair/ Or Small Two Seater
  • Yoga Blocks (haha) /or the last step at the bottom of your stairs.


I've been doing a handstand practice since 2006.  My handstands have run the gamut from spectacular to nonexistent. (Yes, I have ended up in a tearful crumpled heap on the floor more than once.) I do not claim to be an expert in executing and teaching handstands, there are so many people more qualified than myself. However, I do have knowledge on what works and what doesn't work in regards my practice and what I have seen on other bodies.  If this is an acceptable risk for you, then I would love to have you join the class.
